Q: What excites you most about presenting at CMC18?
A: This is one of my favorite conferences to attend. It’s the perfect size and the information is great. The networking is amazing, too. It’s great seeing some of my old friends and meeting new ones at the same time.

Q: Why is NOW the time to master content marketing?
A: In many ways, content marketing merely gets you to the starting line of the marketing marathon. Without it, most brands can’t even compete in the race for online supremacy today.

Q: What does it take to connect with customers today—and how can great content do that?
A: Marcus Sheridan says it best. In fact, it’s the name of his book, “They Ask, You Answer.” It’s as simple as that. What’s not so simple is doing it well.

Q: If there was just one thing you could convince all content marketers to do, what would that be?
A: Don’t chase the laser pointer pointing to “the next hot thing.” Most of the time you’ll be wasting your energy, effort and budget. I’m still not on Snapchat and don’t plan to ever be. Stick with the tried and true, get them right and then go experiment a little on new things.
